Does a Yahoo account suspension last for ever and if so why is it called a suspension when it means temporary?

b.a temporary stoppage of payment, service, etc.
c.a temporary canceling, as of rules

e.a holding back of a judgment, etc.
Quite a simple explanation to this. Firstly you are suspended, definition in this case abrred temporarily from using Yahoo pending appeal. If you do not appeal or appeal and lose the suspension the becomes a total ban.I have an account which I lost over two years ago and it still says it’s suspended so they never actually change the wording.
